Light Engine Replacement Can't Post

Hi all,

I have a Hitachi 55VS69A LCD projection tv that I have just been informed needs a new light engine. I have found one online for $279. The repair place was trying to charge me $800 including labor, of course, I'm not going to pay that kind of money! So I have searched the internet far and wide and I have not found any instructions on replacing one of these. I have the service manual, so installing it wouldn't be an issue. But is there some kind of calibration I will need to do once the new light engine is installed? Or is this something I would absolutely have to have a pro do for me? and if so, why?

Sorry my question was kinda long, but I would really appreciate any help!

Crazy If you have the manual and feel up to it then you shouldn't need to make any adjustments, except for making sure the light engine is aimed right, just take your time and be patient
