Lightning Strikes TV Can't Post

Hi,
I have a Philips 22PFL3504D/F7 television. Recently, there was a bad storm and lightning hit the house. Everything was fine, but there was a power surge. I checked the TV and it didn't have the red LED light in the corner that it usually has in the corner indicating that it is off. It obviously wouldn't turn on. So I checked the main board, and the fuse by the power cord was blown. I attempted to see if it would work by putting a coin in the fuse slot, and the white box and copper spool (only the ones pictured) sparked. I didn't proceed in fear that I would furthermore damage the TV. Any help/advice is appreciated. I think that I would be willing to replace the main board if I can't solder any replacement parts on to it. Thanks

When/If you decide to proceed with troubleshooting 'your way,' have the local fire / rescue on standby. Wink
