Losing Memory? Can't Post

My 15+ years old Mitsubishi CK 3530R console TV will no longer hold its memory. Each time we have a power failure, I have to re-set it.........clock, antenna, channels, etc.

I was told that it does NOT have a battery to hold the memory, but a capacitor instead, but to replace it would cost a fortune. I am quite handy, so is this a DIY project? Where is this CAP located? Where can I get one? Any help would be appreciated.

Even if I knew which board this CAP was on, would allow me to take it to repair shop for soldering if necessary. Thank you in advance!!

Sounds like me. I used to know that but I forgot. I'll see what I can find and get back tomorrow.

Try C962 100mf 50 volt. Good luck working on that monster.
