Lost Channels Can't Post

I have a rca tv that does not have a cable box. One day all of a sudden channels 34 thru 51 are all broadcasting espn. They all show the same thing. I have tried to reprogram the tv automatically, but I still have this problem. All my other tv's in the house do not have this problem. Could someone please help me?

Assuming no one has been playing with any other settings, and since you have deemed it unnecessary to give ANY clues as to the televisions Chassis, Model or even Vintage, my very broad educated guess would be a problem with the Tuner or the Tuner Control circuits.

I would suspect you have had a glitch in the mains which upset your TV. I had an RCA which tuned and found nothing. I set it to one side to find out costs of tuners etc which took about a week. Anyway the customer didnt want to spend the money on a tuner so back on the workbench to put it together, switched on and all was well and to my knowlege is still OK 2 years down the line. So try unhooking it from power for a day or so, you never know.
