Magnavox Power Issues

I have a Magnavox 20MS2331/17 and just recently it has had power issues. It will turn on but shortly after a clicking noise can be heard and it will gradually become faster and faster. Then the TV will turn itself off and sometimes flip back on then off again. After that when I press the power button you hear it turn on but will shut itself off before a picture comes up. After waiting several hours(haven't tried any time shorter) the process will repeat with turning it on and hearing the clicking noise again. If anyone has any suggestions or pointers, further readings or any help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
