Magnitization?

We have a 27" older (round, not flat screen) Daewoo, and just recently something happened to the screen some sort of Magnitization I'm assuming, because in the center there is a large green shade, right out side of that is a ring that is normal, but the outside of that (the outer edge) is blue. The only think that has changed is we recently got a Cable Box from Time warner, that sit on a shelf underneath the tv, could that be the problem? Thanks for the help.
