Im going crazy!!!!!!!! This TV I have wont stop jumping, it jumps up and down, and there are a few lines on the bottom that run acrss the screen. The little lines I can deal with but the jumping is driving me nuts. Can anyone let me know what I can do to it. Or what it is maybe.
That chassis is well known for that vertical sweep problem. The I.C. in that set is IC4E1( LA7838). There are 3 caps around that I.C. that cause problems. There 2 at 100mfd@50v and 1 470mfd@50v. replace these caps before it conks the I.C. Good luck!
