I've owned my Mitsubishi CT29GB1 since 1997 and it has been awesome. But recently the vertical chip went bung so that got repaired but before that happened I had lost my on-screen display that shows volume,channel, programming etc etc. My repair guy here in Australia, apparently couldn't get the part from Mitsubishi and couldn't fix it. Although charging me 160 bucks to fix the vertical chip.
Can anybody help me with advise or a part for my TV? Do I go and ask another repairer? What can I do?
