This unit lost its convergence and started pin cushioning last week. Spoke with some other engineers about this and they commented that these unit were noted for cold solder joints. I think this is a cap or and IC as when it went I smelled burnt silicon. Without schematics and other tools (oscope/dvm) I hesitate to open it up. What should the repair of this cost? Ball-Park or where can I get schematics?
