Mitsubishi VS 50609

We have a convergence problem with our Mitsubishi VS-50609 TV. The red color appears like a shadow and slanting to the left of the screen. Can this be fixed and is it worth it? Or, is this TV on the decline? Appreciate any help. There's only one repair service on Maui that does this TV and they want $150 just for the house call (not including parts & repair).
