Mitsubishi ws55511	Can't Post

Recently changed the ic chip (stk393-110, off brand not sanyo?) and two burned resistors (2w3.9ohm) and the picture looks great as far as convergence is concerned, but, the picture still bows on the left side. I am able to fine tune the convergence to make the picture clear, it just isn't perfectly squared out as it should be. Is this still a convergence chip prob or is there a different contributing factor?

Plus,, if you get 2 years out of the off brand chips you're lucky..

Over the years that I've been here & seen posters with this problem (& there have been a lot) , they seem to have lasted 20 sec's to maybe 20 mins...
2 years would be a stretch....
The ones (ICs) that I laugh loudest at , are the ones listed on eBay as "Refurbished" !!!... Sly
