You have your TV set to 'Cable' mode. Somewhere in your menu there is a setting to change it from 'Cable' to 'Antenna' (or Air).

Older sets without menu options have a slide switch on the back near where the antenna lead-in is connected. Or some older sets have a separate UHF input on the back where the antenna lead-in is. They had separate inputs for VHF & UHF; if this is the case you will need a UHF/VHF Band Separator. -- Dan
