PTK169PAB Can't Post

I just purchased part number 40431-090 for my RCA P52755ST projection TV. In the box of the new 40431-090 part, it states that I should check/change capacitors C-4012, C-4014, & C-4108. My television has chassis PTK169PAB and does not have those capacitors listed as C-4012, C-4014, & C-4108 (C-4108 is actually listed, but I don't think that is the one that is being referred to here as it is not located in the power supply). In any event, my question is what are the capacitors that I need to check for my particular TV or do I really ned to worry about these capacitors on my particular chasis TV?

C4108 is in the power supply, the other 2 I have never heard of, are you sure it`s not 4101 & 4104?what is the part you ordered? Thomson uses a 4 digit part number but marks the circuit board with the first number deleted??? Don`t ask me why, I`ve never figured that one out either, if you look at the right edge of the main board, 1/2 way up there is a 16 pin IC, U14101, C108 is located right next to the IC, if this cap goes bad (which it does quite often) the set won`t start, it`s a good idea to replace 102 & 104 at the same time, tell us what the part is you already purchased (40431-090) and we`ll know better what you have for a failure, if Thomson says you need to replace the caps it`s a good idea to listen as they are a common failure item or they wouldn`t have told you to replace them, Larry E
