Panasonic CT-27G7DF problem Can't Post

Recently my tv had a problem, the picture squash into a horizontal line and only the audio works, some people told me that it must be the vertical circuit and/or the board is that true?Frown

Yes. It is fairly common for the vertical output IC to fail.but first, I wold check for 26 volts on pin 6 of the IC (probably IC451). If that is missing, I have seen occasions where the fusible resistor in the 26 volt power supply opened and the was the only problem.

Pull the part number off of the vertical circuit from the part itself. Then go to www.audiolabga.com and search for it. They will be your most inexpensive route.

It will vary depending upon your local economy but around here, I would expect it to be somewhere between $65 and $100.
