Panasonic Part modification Can't Post

Sup from New Zealand!

My fathers television has given him 12 flashes of death which I'm trying to sort out for him.

The part I need is TNPA3760(1)(H), however panasoinc is telling me they can't supply it.

I can get a version that has a VGA plug that my fathers doesn't (the space is there for it, just no plug and no hole in the casing for it either) on an (AC) version that has 2 points on it (AC funnily enough) bridged instead of the AD points being bridged on his.

Anyone have any clue what the difference is between these two connections? (and others there are 8-10 of them, but only one is linked out of them all).

Alternatively, can I just grab the AC and ignore it haha

Thanks heaps for any help. As you can tell this sort of thing is not my strong suit and my father recently had to fork out for surgery so I am trying to save him some pennies instead of taking it to a T.V. repair person (and it is nice to do things yourself where possible =))

The T.V. is a Panasonic TH42PA60A manufactured July 2006. It doesn't enjoy long walks on the beach, or working as it would turn out.

Here is the part I want, but I do not trust this website.

So I've decided to go with the VGA version and see what happens. There is actually a cutout in the casing (covered on the outside) for it, so it won't be as much trouble as anticipated.......I hope
