I've come to the point that back light lamp repair just isn't worth the trouble.
The flex cables between column boards and panel are just to frail. I'm usually
90% successful but as careful as I am there is that 10% that when I'm done
will have vertical bands or lines. I have a waiver with customers that this can happen. From now on if the back lamps fail and I find failing lamp tubes I'm
just going to price out a panel if the set is worth it.
