Philips 27PT54 3S37A Can't Post

I have this TV and it will not do anything. When you lug it in you can hear a chirping sound. I cannot tell where its coming from. I would like to fix it myself, but I need to find the problem first. If anyone could help that would be great. A service manual would be awesome.Smile

I had a similar problem with my RCA, turned out to be a bad horizontal output transister and flyback, cost about 20-100 in parts depending and 70 in labor...approximately for mine...hope this helps, but probably should wait for the experts to say...GL

Most modern TVs work on a sytem knpwn as I squared C or IsqC or various variations of that. It is a system where a bus line goes through each stage then back to the processor, if a stage fails the bus stops. A new bus powers up and drive the road, it falls into the ditch and the system stop for that moment. The processor now sends another bus, another failure, another hesitation. So what is wrong with your set, you need to drive the road and find the pothole, That is not an easy task, I wish you luck.
