Philips 32pw6332 fault Can't Post

Hi. I am new to these forums, but I must say it seems the best place ont he net for help on these types of problems.
Anyway. I have a Philips 32pw6332 (CRT) tv. Recently it has started to flicker and the screen goes black after a while, or sometimes it takes for or 5 goes at turning it on and off to even get a picture. It is unwatchable in this state and I really hope someone an advise me on a way to fix it.
Many thanks in advance

Ian

check pin 12 on connector I46 on the audio module for bad solder joint.if ok check pin 12 on ic7119. if 1volt then change T7683 (bc858B). you did not say if the sound went off with the picture.

sound is fine. I recently replaced a burnt out capacitor. Could this be causing the problem.

it was a 2KV disc capacitor which burnt out. I cant remember which one, but apparently its purpose was to prevent spikes in the power or something? (I am not an expert on these things). However after replacing it the tv worked perfectly for a week or so.

the blue disc cap in the h.out stage which always burns up on philips tv's.this wont cause the fault you have now but you may have disturbed something else causing a loose connection or bad solder joint soewhere.
