Philips 50PL9126D Can't Post
We have the Philips 50PL9126D. Last night the power button which is usually blue had a red light on it. We shut the TV down and let it sit for a few hours...Then when we went to turn it back on, it will not power up. The power light in the front (blue) just flashes. 6 long flashes followed by five short short rapid flashes. No sound, no picture, NOTHING, just the blue flashing from the power light. To get it to stop, you have to unplug the TV. Any ideas or suggestions on what to do? The TV is about three years old.

This set will blink error code 65: 6 long blinks and then 5 short blinks around the start button. Check the lamp. When the lamp goes out, the lamp LED will come on. After the set is unplugged from the AC outlet then reinserted the error code 65 will flash and not the lamp indicator.

Yup, thats exactly what it is doing, the six five blinking. At first a red little light came on...then after unplugging the tv and letting it sit for a few hours...we plugged it back in and thats when the blue flashing of the power button started and the tv will not even come on, just keeps flashing the blue button. So....Does this mean then we need to replace something in the tv? And if so what is the name of the part? Is this something that my husband can do? And is it expensive to replace? Thanks again for all your help!
