Phillips 25MK248079R---Help Needed

I've got a problem with our Phillips Tv (29" Black). When you plug it in and turn on the tv you can hear it normaly with all the power running through it like it normally does but the screen is blank. There is also a squeking sound when you turn it on as well. Thought this could be a minor problem to fix
Any help is appreciated.Thanks
