Phillips 28" TV	Can't Post

Hi,

My Phillips TV is connected to a Sky + Box via the AV. When you switch the set on the lights go from red - Orange - Green and all is OK

Lately when the set is turned on, the Red light flashes continuously.

I have found that if you keep switching the box off and On, then 1 in 20 times the red light stops flashing (After about 10 minutes). At this point 1 in 3 times is you change the channel the lights go green and normal TV is resumed.

Sorry perhaps my description was not good. The TV Flashes a red light and doesn't work anymore. There is no message facility on the TV.

The only reason I enquired on this forum was because by repetitavley switching off/on the TV, you sometimes get the TV set working. This points to a fault that may be possible to overcome without vast expense.
