Please Help	Can't Post

Hello! I have 2 different Sonys with 2 different probs maybe somebody can help? First is KP-53S25 has sound but no pic and power light continuously flashes red,The second is a KV-27FV16 this unit has pic but no sound I've tested the speakers and they both work when hooked up to a regular stereo.Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I can't help you with the KP set but on the 27" set check your menu function to make sure that the internal speakers are turned on. I recently took a trade-in with no sound and that turned out to be the only problem.

Check the convergence Ic's. They are located under the front panel and just remove the speaker grills and the center section. The Ic's are about 3 inches long and and there are two of them. They have a habit of cracking solder connections and that will cause the problem you describe.
