Proscan PS32800 Can't Post

Have a Ps32800 with no audio. Chassis MM101. problem appears to around U11800. Audio comes in but no output. Changed Ic. No difference. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Re: [swelect] Proscan PS32800 [In reply to] Can't Post

When you say that it is getting audio in, I presume that you mean that the chip itself has input on the input pins, but no output on the output pins. If this is the case, check that the IC is getting its correct voltages.
Also, although it is unlikely, the new IC could also be faulty since manufacture. If this is the case, you are exteremly unlucky.

Re: [Wiz] Proscan PS32800 [In reply to] Can't Post

HI

If I jump the in on pins 17 and13 to the output pins 26,27 I get audio at a medium level with no volume control. The chip is a TDA7312. The chip appears to work but may have a system control or eeprom problem. I have no schematic just block diagrams.
