Proscan ps36123-ghost white?

I have a Proscan ps36123 36" 1997 and it will intermittently go to a ghost white and then back to normal while watching TV. Any suggestions? This does not happen with the VHS or DVD. Also if anyone has the manual that would be greatly appreciated!!!
