RCA 27" ITC008FAM Can't Post

i just received an rca tv for free that has the bottom 2" of the screen missing and it looks like the image is compressed into the first 1/2" to 1" of the bottom of the viewable picture. the rest of the image is perfect. it also has 3 lines 1 green and 2 red all 1 pixel thick running across the top of the screen starting about 3" down and spaced roughly 1/4" apart from each other.

any ideas?

model no: 27R410T.

I'm somewhat new to this and its a complete hobby to me so can you possibly tell me where this cap is?

I found out today that when I first turn the TV on, the picture is fine till about 90 seconds after warm up.

hopefully that helps

thanks

IF you're going to try to fix this set you will have to learn a few basics: like how to match a part location number with the part in the real-world.Smile
