RCA 32v550t Fuse Can't Post

Blown fuse is obvious, and I found a replacement for it. My question is should I bother?? There wasn't a ele. surge when the TV died, and I don't want to spend a lot of money fixing a TV that is going to blow again. Anyone have any luck just replacing a fuse? Any help is appreciated!

Fuses don't usually blow unless there is an underlieing reason such as a short circuit. However, it might be worth spending a buck on the off chance that the fuse just got tired.
