Hi - I just discovered this forum (thru Google) and I'm wondering if anyone can help us. We have had our RCA F31317 for years and today while someone was cleaning around the TV, something happened and I cannot turn it on. Neither the remote nor the front (the only one I know of) power switch does anything. Does anyone have any suggestions? ideas? Thanks, dave
That is the dreaded 203 chassis that gives mega-problems! That set is 8 years old! Buy you a new high definition and live with the new problems@ Good luck!

Thanks - I don't have that rudimentary knowledge for TV repair - I think your first suggestion to go out and get a flatscreen is right-on . . . now, i'm just waiting to get a Sony 32L4000 Bravia (720p) for around $500 - Best Buy had them at that price but apparently sold out on Black Friday - I may just have to wait till after Christmas - thanks again for your good advice.
