RCA F36674ET DEAD	Can't Post

My RCA F36674ET died last night. When you power it on it makes 4 weird scrtchy like beeps and the tube

seems to give off static at the same time of the beeps with a smal flash at the bottom left screen

Any help would be appreciated. I cant afford to buy another or pay to get it fixed and I used to be an elec. Tech so I know my way around meters etc. Unsure

If thats a CTC197CA chassis, my money is on a bad flyback transformer. ~$30 part.

on a 197 chassis, you can remove the HOT and turn on the TV, if it starts and you can hear sound, replace the flyback.

I replaced the transformer. It stopped the crackling pop noise. I hear the HV in the tube kick instill no video or sound. Is there an adj. or something? I even checked the jumper JC128, replaced C14710&R14704 as directed and checked all solder joints.. Crazy

Thanks for the help. With some perserverence got it to work. unsoldered the hot, still no audio. Tested voltage points looked good. Resoldered hot in and up it came audio and all. DUH? Great site and people!
