RCA Kicked Off	Can't Post

I have a 36" RCA Color TV. About 6 years old.....While watching it I heard a small pop / Crackle and then a smell of hot electronic. TV has no power but a small buzzing? Any ideas and if so, is it worth fixing? Cool

if this TV is a ctc197 chassis, the flyback transformer is toast. Its a $50 part, but the labor will cost you.

If its another chassis#, post back with the info.

It is probably still the flyback transformer. RCA has a long history of unreliable flybacks in many late model sets including the CTC203 series. With a 36" set, it is probably worth the price of repair but you should gave a qualified tech confirm the diagnosis rather than chenging it yourself and finding that it was not the problem.
