RCA Parts Question? Can't Post

I apologize in advance if this is not allowed or does not belong here but I read the rules for this forum and did not see anything which prohibited the content of this post.
My question is I recently purchased a building which was previously a RCA TV repair shop. I have several thousand new RCA parts (some appear to be older model parts but new in package) what are they worth? Thanks.

$0 to Infinity. Depends on who's inquiring.

Re: [jts1957] RCA Parts Question? [In reply to] Can't Post

When I bought this building he left alot of stuff inside that I don't have a use for. Parts, very old schematics, etc. I am just wondering/researching what I should do with them and if anyone would be interested in anything like that. From what I have seen I have over 1,000+ parts for RCA TV's of all kinds of makes and models from the years of 2003 - 2009 (according to the previous owner). The parts include remotes, circuit boards, various cables and cords, resistors, capacitors, transitors, you name it, etc. Some of these are so small that I can not hardly even see them in the package. The schematics date back to the 1960's and maybe further.
What to do?

I had my wife pull some part numbers and the bigger parts are Circuit board part #256895, Ihvt part #241319 & #247718. Transistors #176980, circuit board part # 258758, transistors #204300 & 204301. Resistor focus block #248416. If that helps.

mcdenney;....

Just a suggestion....
You might want to research some of the bigger items on Google for their replacement cost & then put them up on eBay for a cheaper price....
Assuming that they are brand new & in factory packageing...
You get to get rid of the bigger items & get money for them as well...
A win-win situation...Wink...

Have fun....

It sounds like the set has lost most of its vertical deflection. There are several possible causes; not necessarily the same one that you experienced before.

A 16 year old analog CRT set is not the easiest thing to find parts for, and it's not worth the cost of a professional repair. You may want to consider whether it's time to recycle it and devote your funds to a modern set with a new warranty and the latest features.

Many of the RCA parts have become very difficult to come by the last couple of years. When RCA/Thompson went bankrupt the last time, they stopped selling many of the old replacement parts. Much of what you probably have would go to those older sets, just follow what previous posters have said, there should be a market for much of that stuff.

I am in need of the RCA circuit board you suggested you have 258758. Do you by chance still have it for sale?

Ron actually just helped me fix my board. We are still in the process of fixing the TV completely. If I need some more parts for it I will definitively give you a call. Thanks!
