RCA Problems Can't Post

I have an RCA 27". I have no idea whats wrong with it or if it is fixable. The Sound and Picture are fine but it looks like its zoomed in but there are no adjustments in Menu. Does anybody know what is wrong with it and is it fixable?

Low high voltage ( 2nd anode ) to the picture tube can cause this. B+ power supply or flyback transformer.

There is also a hidden service menu in which you can shrink the horizontal and vertical size. Run a search here on your chassis model for the how to, It is usually done with holding front panel buttons while pressing the power button, The menu pops up and you enter a password number. You will need the codes to know which adjustment setting you are on.

I did that and there are 13 different settings and there is one for vertical but not one for horizontal so it looks like i'm gunna have to deal with it unless someone knows anyhting else about it

it is not about EEPROM data. problem is horizontally shrinking, so you should check pinchusion circuitry and horizontal deflection circuitry. can you find what the chassis number is?

for this chassis, check horizontal circuitry. take care of dry joint on diode.
