I am no tv repair man but I can solder and use a multimeter, anyway I had a guy tell me that my convergence problem was the fuse on the power/deflection board in the middle and I think he called it a flyway.
I replaced the entire board with a new board and had the same problem, I then took the old board and installed a new fuse and resoldered all the points on the flyway. Installed the now repaired old board back in the tv and tried again. still have a convergence problem.
I pulled the board again and rechecked the fuse and found the fuse was good. It is not adjustable through the service menu.
Anybody have any clue what I might look for or should I just trash this unit and go buy new.

Sounds like if you keep going the way you've been going, you're going to spend even more money and probably still have a set that doesn't work. Smile

1) Flyback, NOT flyway.
2) New, "TO YOU" anyway, board or a genuine "NEW" board?
3) Ribbon cable/connectors bulged?
4) "SERVICE" menu is the LAST place YOU should be. Perhaps you meant CUSTOMER menu?
