My RCA model 27V513T comes on then after a moment screen goes rainbow color and turns off?

Can you take & post a pix of the "Rainbow" color(s) you see ????...
What color(s) do you see before the TV goes off ???...
Do you see a solid color on the whole screen & then it quickly goes to the other colors ????...
This sounds like a weirdo , so a pix would be a great help....

Also , Please look on the label you got the model number from & see if there is a "chassis" number there...
It should start with "CTC"...

Chassis should be M134C.

First of all you should find out the chasis No. of RCA model 27V513T if the chasis no. is M134C than locate the main regulated b+ point in the main power supply and put the meter with the hold reading onto the b+ point and measure and monitor the main b+ supply to see if maybe the B+ may be causing the problem and as it turned out the hold feature will hold and store the highest voltage that comes onto the b+ terminal as there may be an intermittent component making the b= go high intermittently and causing the shutdown. You also could have bad solder connections in the sweep power supply and or the horizontal sweep drive circuit.
