I work in a nursing home, and our resident's 46" RCA went black and white back in September 2004 (7 months ago). The television is 2 years old. The repair center out of Lansing came and "fixed" it. 1 day later, it was again black and white. I called them back, and they threw everything they had at it, and kept it for 2 months. Upon return, as I was hooking it up, it again went black and white. Needless to say, the repair company gave up. I called another place. When they picked it up, it was in black and white. When they got it to their repair center, it was color. They tightened everything, brought it back and handed me a bill. 5 Days later, you guessed it, it went black and white. I called them back, and they pulled the board out. They sent it in, and a month later it was returned. Not a day later, it is again black and white. If I had the money in my account, I would simply throw this thing out and buy a new one. I haven't paid anyone for repair, because they haven't fixed it. Does anyone have any ideas?
