I am an authorized Thompson repair center and a lawyer for a family has contact acted me about a projection set that had caught fire and killed four people. I had preovly submitted a E-mail about this problem to RCA this set however did not kill any one. After reviewing all documents the set in question was the PTK195 series. The one I had, and I have had 3 that cause smoke and fire is the ITT222 . There are great similarities in the construction and parts used in these sets and I have seen many coolant leaks and fire problems in the PTK195. Has any other service center had a fire problem in the 195 that they have documented?
