Replacing Display Panel Can't Post

I need to replace the cracked display on a Samsung UN40H6400 3D TV. My question is what type of adjustments need to be done? Will I be able to do this? What would probable cost be if I took it to TV repair business to do adjustments?

I have priced displays and they are about $450 plus shipping. However, the cost of the display will be my only cost for a TV that costs about $980. However, if there are significant adjustments and I cannot do the adjustments myself, the costs of adjustment is primary to making a decision to move forward on this project.

As long as panel manufacturer, part numbers, connectors and tcon are identical ... should be plug-n-play.
