S-Video Issues Can't Post

My Toshiba 27D46 has a S-Video input so i can hook up my computer to my TV. I hook up the cord to the S-Video input and my computer detects the TV. I enable the TV on my computer but nothing shows up on my TV. I can only choose from Video-1, Video-2, and ColorStream. How do I get to choose S-Video to show my computer screen? thanks.

THE SVIDEO AND THE YELLOW SHARE THAT INPUT. YOU CAN EITHER HOOK UP SVIDEO AND WHITE AND RED(AUDIO) OR HOOK UP THE YELLOW AND RED AND WHITE . YOU MAY EVEN BE ABLE TO HOOK UP BOTHYELLOW AND SVIDEO FROM TWO DIFF SOURCES AND IF ONLY ONE IS ON THAT VIDEO WILL BE DISPLAYED ON PROB. VIDEO ONE.WITH MY SVIDEO WITH MY RCA IT ALSO SHARES AN INPUT AND THE ONLY WAY I CAN GET MY LAPTOP TO SHOW UP IS IF I HOOK THE SVID UP AND STARTUP MY COMPUTER OR REBOOT AND IT COMES IN. AND THEN I CHANG MY RESOLUTION TO HELP WITH SIZING IT WORKS OK BUT THE PIC. IS CRAPPY GOOD LUCK
