SONY KV35S65	Can't Post

I have a Sony KV35S65 that has no picture by great sound on regular cable hook-up. Have both great picture and sound when using vcr through the a/v hook-ups. Changed the tuner, but still the same. Can anyone help?

If you have sound, your tuner and IF is working, from there it will go to an AV panel which has cmos chips to switch between TV and AV. The cmos chip is not switching. Usual reason for this is furry slippers sliding on nylon carpet before you plug the leads in to a working set. Rules for plugging leads in are units OFF, touch the metal of the antenna socket for a couple of moments with finger, plug the lead in cable unit. Hold the cable by the insulation touch the centre pin to the earth on the antenna socket, now plug in
