model: PCK6115R

tv will not power on.

when plugged in, timer light is red, then goes out.

any suggestions

i took off the cover of the television, and i found quite a few cords that were unplugged. as i don't have any kind of diagram, i dont know where they should go or even if they need to be plugged in.

any suggestions?

anyone? bueller? bueller?

So when pulling the back cover off, and looking at all the wires and such, i was able to plugged most of them back in, there are only two Green, single wires, which im assuming are ground wires. There are multiple possibilities on where these two wires can go.

Also, when the tv is plugged in, one of the heatsinks heats up, pretty nicely, so the tv is getting power, and im guessing that's a good thing.

So if anyone knows where i might find a wiring diagram for the PCK6115RXXAA television, i'd appriciate it.

If you are looking at house wireing 40 or so years ago you are correct. As your tv is not AC mains and not in the era of Eddison, forget about green being earth, In colour code its 5, and in a TV it could be the 5th wire, or wire that was cheaper at the time for a manufacturer.
