Samsung UE32F5500	Can't Post

Hello

Anyone out there know if a Samsung remote control works for all models. I've acquired a Samsung UE32F5500, It switches on and the backlight comes on …but no sound or picture. I'm using the remote I have with my existing Samsung TV (different model) The buttons seem to operate as the red LED on the bottom of the unit flashes. Could the remote be the problem?

Hide the remote.

IF you cannot get any on screen menus or audio/picture (with active sources connected and selected), then TV requires service.

IF you DO get any on screen menus or audio/picture (with active sources connected and selected) then you need to read the user manuals.

IF your Samsung remote does NOT have any button(s) as they are asked for in the manuals, then your remote may not fully control all of TV features.

Thanks for that….strangely the joystick allows you to switch on but not off…no response other than that…Is it the main-board ?
