Sanyo AVM-3659G	Can't Post

My tv just went on the fritz last night , tryede unplugging and plugging back in nothing , makes a high pitch noise when plugged in, should I junk it or try to fix it? Its 36" tube so its a beast to haul around.

Its lost its horizontal stage and has a short thats all we could say, its up to you if you fix it.

I just worked on a sanyo about 2 weeks ago and sanyo email me the schematics for free for that tv when I ask them about the service manual on the tv. Here is their webpage if you wanna email them good luck http://www.sanyo.com/...t.cfm?showFileID=151

Check Q402(2SD2634) and change C408(4.7mfd@160 volts )

Thanks for the info ,I tried calling Sanyo today but it looks like im going to have to email them I was on hold for about 15 to 20 minutes, hopefully I can get A service manual

Ive spent about an hour on the phone with Sanyo, they redirected all over the place bringing me back to their website #, they told me they did have an service manual or schematic for that tv, the tv's only 6 years old.

rrober has told what circuit is defective and I have given you the part#s and values. Get with the program, repair it !
