Setting Schedules Advice Can't Post

Hi all, I have a pretty basic setup and question.. I have an OTA
Zenith converter box and would like to setup schedules...not to record but to remember a schedule I want...Like every Tues at
8PM change to ch 4...Do I need a certain Remote to set this up,
or another type of component......My problem is I always miss the shows I want to see...

You also have a problem with Model numbers, unless Zenith has only made the one OTA Zenith converter box.

Yes, the Zenith box is a from the conversion day when we went from analog to digital..I'm sure it is incapable of any such storing dates, times and channels...What I'm looking for is a new Remote or another electronic component that will switch to shows at particular times I program into it??
Just for info:
The Zenith is a DTT900 DTV tuner from 3/2008

They did make DTV converter boxes with a "Timer" or "VCR Timer" feature.

I bought (back then - 2008ish) three boxes with timer feature (works quite similarly to setting a VCR recording). The first two were made by Dish Network and are more or less identical - DTV Pal & TR-40CRA with the third being a Zinwell ZAT-970A.

You may be able to pick one up (be sure its original remote is included) on fleabay, etc.

Yea, thanks...Ill keep looking around...can't understand why they don't make a Remote control that changes channels at certain days and times that can be pre programmed...Oh well, thanks again

There are many (used) remotes that have macro functions. Just be sure to keep fresh batteries in it and be sure it can "see" the item's it's controlling.

Not to mention setting it up correctly. Garbage in - Garbage out.
