This is a common problem with this model. The PiP module is bad and can be repaired by replacing the electrolytic caps on the module. If you do not use the PiP function, the module can be bypassed by removing it from the VP plug and installing a .01 mfd cap between pins 7 and 9 and a 4.7 mfd 35-50 volt cap between pins 5 and 11 with the pos to pin 5.
