Sharp Aquos Hi,
I have a SHARP AQUOS TV, Model Number: LC-37D62U, which I purchased a few years ago. It is now no longer turning on.
It clicks on, but then goes into a pattern of : (x=off) (0=on)
----(0) 2x---------(x)------------(0) 2x----
(Power) (Sleep) (OPC)
The problem is when I plug it in, I get the POWER and the OPC lights flashing twice and then nothing, and then the same thing keeps on happening. If I try to power the tv on, it clicks on then goes off with another click.
I have searched and tried all the things I can do without opening it up and none worked. Called SHARP (and their affiliated repair shop) and they told me the pattern I have described requires service so basically it can't be fixed without opening it up, and they say it will probably cost a few hundred bucks.
I have taken pictures of all the boards, nothing appears to be wrong with any of them visually.
