Sharp LC-60LE835U Can't Post

A couple weeks ago 1 LED turned off and the picture got a bit darker in that area, as of last night, the whole tv shut off and now the power button blinks 1 long blink and then a short one. I have read that means there is a hardware failure, my question is i suppose, is it the power inverter for the panel, or is it the panel itself, as 1 of those options makes the tv worth salvaging. Thanks in advance everyone.

Always read from the manual: http://imgur.com/a/DCPoo

LED sets use LED Drivers (essentially a DC voltage supply). CCFL sets use Inverters.

(You yourself say that (at least) one LED is out.)

got it, so the lamp failed and the tv is trashed. that's upsetting. Thanks for your help, couldn't find the service manual but got it when i looked for the other models as you pointed out in the screen shot.
