Smasung 32" Can't Post

I have this 32" Samsung TV.
When I try to turn it on the LED flashes 5 times and that is it.
I have changed the main board and the power board, still all I get is 5 led flashes.
When the TV is plugged in and I disconnect the main board from the power board the back light will come on. When I plug the lead back in the back light goes off?
All very odd, no clicking noises just the 5 LED flashes, there does not seem to be a shred of information on the the samsung blink codes on the web.
Any help would be grand.
TV is out of warranty

Regards

AV

So can we assume it's from this decade, last decade or what? If average warranty is one year and it is over, do we assume 2010?

Googling "Samsung 32" 2010" Still, that's a lot of hits.

About 345,000,000 results (0.22 seconds)

Alright, alright....I didn't read the sticky. Do the NHS still remove hands for such a sin?

Thank you for the sarcastic nudge.

Model: LE32C450E1W

That should slim down your google search Wink

Let me know if you require any other details

Thank you

Has nobody got any ideas?
I have a feeling it's the panel control board that is causing the fault since the inverter is obviously powering the back light. I have changed the power and main board...the t con is they only one left.
Just wondered if anyone has had to deal with a fault like this before.

Wow, so you all freaked out because there was no model number on my post.
It was a generic fault regardless of the model number, so why did you make such a fuss over no model number when not one of the members knew what the problem was anyway? Why on earth did you bother?
To update the post, I have fixed the TV now and there is no way I am parting with the vital fix for the 5 led flash code issue.

Goodbye TV-forums, you suck!!

Gee,,I'm so sorry I didn't take my time away from working to support my family at my chosen career in electronics to immediately give you an exact fix for your TV for free. You couldn't wait 1 day for anyone to give you troubleshooting advice, before you started with demands. Demands will more often than not, get you completely ignored.

My advise you you is simple. If you request FREE advice, learn to be patient.

You don't have to b sorry.
I wasn't looking for an exact fix, I was looking for advice.
My rant was about the members crying about not having a model number on the first post when they didn't have a clue how to guide me best in fault finding this particular issue. It was a generic fault and with the information I gave I know I could have been guided without knowledge of the actual model. It doesn't matter now, I've learnt two things....how to fix the 5 blink and this forum lacks experts.

Even this is too much info for a "Generic fault!"

Example:
There is a metal pipe sticking through the face of our (CRT) TV - how to repair?

Your example is nothing like my post.
Within a few hours of my post the model number was there anyway. Let's not beat about the bush, none of u even wanted to help u just wanted to look good by slamming the rule book around on someone making their first ever post, poor forum ethics.
I hope it made u feel really cyber big!

aerialview;;.....

There's something you NEED to know...
ALL of us here are UNPAID volunteers that provide our expertise & TIME for FREE to ALL , EVEN A-holes like you...
You were asked for a model number because oftentimes specific problems concern certain models only...
Were are NOT psycics & most of our crystal balls are in for maintenance...
You were asked for the model number in a factual way & NOT in a sarcastic tone...
You provided that yourself...
It doesn't look like anyone " slammed the rule book" on you...
You were informed of it...
You appear to have personality issues...
No one that I know of has ever heard of a "generic fault"...NO ONE !!!...

You've really ONLY "learnt" ONE thing...
That being "how to fix the 5 blink" & I'm not sure you did that on your own...
We have a GREAT selection of REALLY GOOD techs here...
Too bad you lost your cool...
