Sony KDS R60XBR1	Can't Post

What started out as a yellow cast in the lower right corner has now enlarged and takes up the right third of the screen. Just bought a new lamp but no difference. It's just enough to be annoying.
Almost 2 years old now so no warranty.....

Hi: sounds like your light engine is going out on you. Check with your dealer or sony service, they extended the warranty on some of these sets with bad light engines.

Thanks for the response. I always like to know what makes thinks work so what is a light engine?

It has all the optics and electronics in it too produce your picture you see on your screen, as the light from your lamp passes thru it.
