Sony KV27s10 dead Can't Post

My Sony kv 27s10 was dead. I replaced Q601, Q602, R607(0.1,1/4w, fusible) and R644(6.8,1/4 w, fusible). Found VDR601(270V) shorted. I removed it, but no replacement on hand. The set worked for few hours. After turned off, it was dead again and all the replacement failed again. What is wrong with it?

Re: [ruipinghuang] Sony KV27s10 dead [In reply to] Can't Post

I have the same exact problem. My Sony KV27S10 is now almost 11 years old. Last night I noticed that the screen was kind of skewing on me on the left side. I figured it was about to go. Just an hour ago, it turned off on me. D E D dead!

Were you able to figure out how to finally get it fixed?

I don't know what's wrong, but I am interested in buying it off of you. I have one as well and the shell is more or less completely destroyed. I'm trying to find one where the case is intact, but is dead so I can get it off of someone. Reply back if you're interested

I was actually planning on trying and sell the dead one to someone. The TV looks pretty much brand new. There are basically no scratches on it anywhere.

Well, the shipping cost alone makes this not worth it. Do you happen to live in the SE Michigan area? If so, then this might work.

Yep, the only way this would work is if we were local. Unfortunately it seems like we're not.

I now have a dead kv27s10 and I'm going to Ann Arbor in a couple of weeks for an Xmas party. If I can't get mine fixed, are you still looking for one?
