Sony Trinitron Question Can't Post

Hi. I have a sixteen year old Sony Trinitron, model number KV32S25. When I turn it on the picture
blinks on and off for several minutes before settling down. The sound is not affected. Is this an easy fix?
Thanks for any information.

Set is probably going into KI shutdown due to a weak CRT. Try turning up the screen voltage to where the retrace lines just appear and back off till gone might help.

Wink"IK" shutdown and G2 increase usually will help for a little while.

YUP, but after that it is either CRT rejuvinate or boost heater voltage. He's lucky that he got this much use out of a trinitron CRT.
