Sony XBR 36" Can't Post

I have a 7-8 year old Sony HD KV-36XBR450 serial # 9048477 that just started acting strange.About every hour or so it will turn it's self off? And since the first time it did this the color has not been correct (more redish) and the picture is not as crisp? I tried to re-adjust the color but it will not do so. Any suggestions on what needs to be done or replaced?

possible internal tube flashover causing the grey scale to go out of adjustment and poor focus.I suggest a local sony tech for a second opinion

Bring up the screen with a list of the problems and number of times they have occurred,by pressing Display,Channel 5,Volume - then power.

When it turns off, does the standby light blink and if so, how many times?

I realy didn't know it had a standby light? Were is this located? After it turns itself off, i can turn it back on immediately with no problems besides the color being a little incorect? Don't know if this helps? The picture is getting to be a little sharper at this point.

From what i see on the web it looks like the C-board is bad. And looks like they have been discontinued? Here is the part # A-1332-075-A i found on another site. I tried the Sony parts site ond several other TV parts site and they all list them as not available.Anyone have any other suggestions?
